HELP ME WRITE MY STORY is a highly relational, process-driven, professional service that empowers an aspiring author to produce a personal memoir that is shared in a self-published book (including Kindle too).

HELP ME WRITE MY STORY coaches the author client through each creative phase of writing a book:

Each writing project has its own unique set of challenges, but I’ve sought to clearly present these different packages and pricing levels. All five are dependent upon the pace, progress, and extraordinary challenges of the book. 

There are three Story Coaching service levels of Help Me Write My Story*:

Note: I’m a writer, not a graphic artist. Book covers are the responsibility of the client. Platforms like KDP offer “cover creators” for the author.

Story Coaching Value Stack

Level One / Book Launch Package: $1,100.00 at a rate of $275.00/month for 4 months payment timeline. You write your book and Dr. Bates takes you through the Help Me Write My Story process from your Big Story Idea to published book (print only. For creating an eBook, add $250.00 to the amount). This service includes proofing, writing coaching, social networking coaching, and helping you keep the publishing checklist goals in place. 

Level Two / Team Package: $6,600.00 at a rate of $550.00 / month for 12 months payment timeline. You and Dr. Bates write your book together. You will do most of the writing, provide all of your research and personal notes. Dr. Bates takes you through the Help Me Write My Story process from your Big Story Idea to published book print only. (For creating an eBook, add $250.00 to the amount). This service includes deep level editing, recording interview sessions, proofing, writing coaching, social networking coaching, and helping you keep the publishing checklist goals in place.

Level Three / Premium Package (As told to Dr. Bates): $9,900.00 (12 months at $825 / month. Pay quarterly over 12 months and save a monthly payment of $825. Every quarter over the course of 12 months your payment would be $2,268.75 per quarter) Dr. Bates writes your book for you. You provide all of your research and personal notes. Dr. Bates takes you through the Help Me Write My Story process from your Big Story Idea to published book (print and eBook included). This service includes proofing, recording interview sessions, writing coaching, social networking coaching, and helping you keep the publishing checklist goals in place. 

Help Me Write My Story Online Course For Aspiring Writers (Videos, PowerPoints, and PDF workbook $99.00): This is for the person who is interested in learning the basic skills of what it takes to write a book one day. HELP ME WRITE MY STORY coaches the author client through each creative phase of writing a book:

Help Me Write My Story Online Course For Aspiring Writers Mentorship: One on one coaching for each module of the online course. (Add 125.00)

Low Level Story Coaching: This is for the person who is interested in establishing a short-term business relationship. They are in need of strategic coaching / instruction on the best path forward towards writing their book one day but are not prepared to make a time and financial investment now. They are looking to bounce ideas around, using Dr. Bates as a sounding board. Standard coaching fees are $125.00 per 60-minute session.

1. How long does it take to write a book? Well, it depends but you will never know until you begin!
2. What does it cost? Great question! It depends on many factors like how many pages will be in the book, how much time and support will I need to give to your book, how quick you need it done, etc? I'll say this: After we have an initial interview I'll do everything in my power to make it affordable for you.
3. if I don't write my story will it be the end of the world? No, but the world will be down one less story the world needs to hear--YOUR STORY!
